  • Location: Oxford / Reading / Slough (but can be flexible)
  • Salary: £30,000-£37,000 plus bonus

 

 

 

We are looking for a Client Engagement Partner to join our Core Network division on a permanent basis. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that new client wins reach their income potential and establish Reed as their trusted partner for recruitment needs and other services. You will be instrumental in driving growth and retention, acting as a catalyst for change by supporting the implementation of improved business practices that enhance both client and co-member experiences.

Day to day of the role:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for new client wins, guiding them on their ‘land & expand’ journey with Reed.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from Business Development Managers (BDM) to Operations, connecting the right co-members in Reed to the right client contacts.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients to become the ‘first call’ for all new recruitment opportunities.
  • Gather information to fully understand the client’s needs and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Map senior stakeholders, ensuring accurate contact details are maintained in X3 and HubSpot.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s internal recruitment, HR, and procurement processes.
  • Maximise potential opportunities within all Reed specialisms by understanding the recruitment market.
  • Maintain accurate status updates on our ATAC strategy journey in PowerBI.
  • Create organisation charts detailing hiring managers and their departments.
  • Identify and maximise value-added services, such as screening and consultancy.
  • Collaborate on sales and marketing strategies to engage clients with our products and services.
  • Schedule and attend service reviews with appropriate Reed co-members.
  • Stay informed of future re-tender opportunities and strategic wins, such as MSP/RPO.
  • Collect testimonials and reviews to support future acquisitions.
  • Highlight opportunities for client engagement through Reed events and webinars.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in client engagement or partnership roles.
  • Strong understanding of business development and the recruitment industry.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to identify and leverage income opportunities.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems such as X3 and HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI for reporting and analytics.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.
