Celebrating the performance of our co-members.

On October 19th, 2023, Reed hosted its annual High Achievers event at the stunning Tortworth Court in the Gloucestershire countryside. The event was a recognition and celebration of the outstanding performance and achievements of our co-members from across the globe.

The event, held across the day and into the evening, was a fantastic opportunity for co-members working across operations and support functions to reconnect in person and celebrate one another’s successes.

The day began with an update and welcome from Global Managing Director Ian Nicholas, who reflected on a year that saw growth, innovation and some exciting plans for the future. Ian then handed over to expert mixologists who armed each table with everything they needed to create some classic signature cocktails. The Managing Director of our Technology division, Chris Adcock was nudged forward as an expert in the art of a good Mojito and took the reins in leading the masterclass. In between the cocktail-making was the ever-popular musical bingo, testing co-members’ musical knowledge from across all genres and decades, apparently Steve Clark from Reed Talent Solutions could have won this all by himself!

These activities were a great way to relax, recharge, and network with our colleagues from different regions and departments.

As Storm Babat began to retire for the evening, co-members got their glad rags on ready to party at the black-tie gala dinner.

The evening kicked off with a series of inspiring and informative presentations from our senior leaders who shared their pride and passion for our co-members and for Reed’s future. James Reed (CEO) joined the evening and shared some wonderful stories prior to handing out the awards to the deserving winners.

The evening was the highlight of the day, co-members gathered for a glamorous gala dinner and awards ceremony. The awards recognised the exceptional performance and contribution of our co-members in various categories, such as sales, service, innovation, and teamwork.

The event was a huge success and a memorable experience for all. What makes it so special is that it’s curated from within the business, gathering feedback from co-members year on year to make each event even better than the last. Our special thanks go out to Michelle Bull from our Core network who works tirelessly to make for such a memorable day for all.
