Due to continued success and growth and expansion plans for the region, our Reed Business Support division based in Exeter are looking for a new Permanents Recruitment Consultant to join the existing team of successful recruiters.

Hybrid working: Monday – Wednesday office based and Thursday and Friday working from home after the initial imbedding period

Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 per annum (dependent on previous level of recruitment experience) plus uncapped bonus earning potential

Hours: Full time or Part Time. Full time 37.5 per week Monday – Friday or part time at 4 days or 5 shorter days

Contract: Permanent

What is the role?

Due to continued success and growth and expansion plans for the region, our Reed Accountancy & Finance division based in Exeter are looking for a new Permanents Recruitment Consultant to join the existing team of successful recruiters. 

You will be supported by your Senior Area Manager with over 8 years’ worth of experience in recruitment, and your other team members have 17 years and 7 years’ experience in recruitment with Reed, so plenty of mentors to help you grow and develop your recruitment career. 

We have so far generated £32,000 worth of business last year from one of pour recruiters in our Plymouth office, but you will now have full autonomy to further develop this and focus on the lower-mid level Accountancy & Finance roles. We also have long term growth plans for this team and intend to expand further, so there could be future opportunities to step into management and support this growth.

Who would suit this role?

We are open to experience, however we are ideally looking for sales professionals, or someone with recruitment knowledge, or strong account management experience looking to transition into the lucrative world of recruitment. You will also need to have the right mindset to be driven, motivated, ambitious, organised, tenacious, good at relationship building and confident on the phone are key. Obviously, we are always interested in speaking to experienced Recruiters who have demonstratable knowledge in the industry. We are mainly looking for someone with the right attitude and we can train the rest!
