Recruitment Consultant – Perms Desk

Are you an experienced recruiter with a passion for the sales sector? We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing sales team in Birmingham with a focus on SaaS. This role comes with a strong desk, an established client base, and the chance to work alongside experienced recruiters, providing a pathway for quick progression for the right candidate.

Recruitment Consultant

  • Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 per annum 
  • Location: Birmingham B4 6AJ (blended home and office working)
  • Specialism: Sales SaaS (Software as a Service)
  • Job Type: Full-time Permanent

Day to day of the role:

  • Manage the full 360 recruitment cycle, delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates.
  • Engage in strategic business development through B2B sales calls and written sales communications.
  • Network with clients and candidates virtually and face-to-face, building strong professional relationships.
  • Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to map out clients and candidates effectively.
  • Source and match candidates to existing and new clients, arranging interviews and meetings.
  • Negotiate terms of business and close deals, ensuring the best outcomes for all parties involved.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, particularly within the SaaS sector.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Resilience and dedication to succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple demands while delivering a fast-paced, high-quality service.
  • Financial motivation and a strong desire for career progression.
  • Competitive nature with a robust work ethic.
  • Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills.
