Thursday 30th January saw over 100 REED Apprentices gather in Birmingham to celebrate being awarded their qualification for either Recruitment Resourcer Level 2, or Recruitment Consultant Level 3 Apprenticeship.

The event was a hands-on, practical day, embarking on a journey to explore how individual human performance can help to develop a no limits culture.

Led by the team at Lane4, the apprentices focused on future goal-setting, resilience strategy and even had the privilege of a laser-shooting session with retired GB Modern Pentathlete, Lydia Rosling.

Insight and experience was shared by Claire Harvey (Managing Director, RSR) and prior to a standing ovation and presentation of certificates, James and Sir Alec Reed recounted anecdotes detailing their own experiences of resilience and goal setting.

Providing industry leading training is something that REED has always aspired to deliver and our Apprenticeship programme is no different. Last year REED announced that we were the first organisation in England to see apprentices complete the Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship.

In the same year REED was awarded “Most Motivational Benefits” at the 2019 Employee Benefits awards, this in-house awards event recognises the importance and effectiveness that Reed Specialist Recruitment places on structured progression, financial incentives and other rewards for apprentices starting out their careers in Recruitment.

Our purpose is simple, “Improving Lives Through Work” and with over 250 apprentices being hired into REED each year, we believe we are doing just that.
