Tutor Co-Ordinator

Reed Education are looking for a Tutor Co-ordinator to join the Team in Southampton

Position: Tutor Co-ordinator – Reed Tutors, Southampton

Salary: £20,000

Hours: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours) Permanent, Full Time

Reed Tutors as a subdivision of Reed Education are very pleased to be a Tuition Partner of the National Tutoring Programme and as a consequence we are expanding our team of Tutor Co-ordinators to facilitate an increase in demand.

As a Tutor Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting schools, our internal team of recruiters and the tutors themselves from the point of taking an order through to completion of the assignment. As the title suggests, you will co-ordinate high volume orders from schools nationally, each with specific requirements and complexity, so strong attention to detail and administrative skills are a must.

You will distribute school orders through to the relevant team members across the country, managing the process step by step following stringent guidelines that ensure we capture all the information required from both the school and tutor.

Consequently, the individuals we are looking for need to have good communication skills both written and orally. You will also organise and process tutor timesheets including obtaining school authorisation, so an appropriate level of numeracy competence will be important as is experience in using Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, as well as other computer software. Due to the continued development of the programme itself, you will also support both the school and tutors in the utilisation of a specialist online tuition portal.

Whilst the role will be predominantly administrative, you will speak with our internal teams, schools and tutors on a very regular basis and be part of our service delivery centre in Southampton – a successful team of likeminded individuals running our largest accounts.

The role would suit someone who has worked in recruitment but no longer wants to sell, someone who has worked in similar co-ordination type role (including outside of recruitment), or someone experienced in dealing with a high-volume client caseload using multiple different computer systems.

The successful applicants will work 37.5 hours per week on shift pattern between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday, ideally from our office in central Southampton- however, the role can be successfully completed remotely. You will receive 25 days annual leave + bank holidays and be part of the Reed Specialist Recruitment team granting you access to a range of benefits.
