Talent Acquisition Partner

Reed.co.uk are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join their expanding team. This role will be mainly Northampton (Brackmills) and home based, with occasional travel to the London office.

Overview

You will work on a wide range of vacancies from managing high volume recruitment roles through to niche headhunting for specialist roles. You will need to get your head around some quite complex business areas to understand their recruitment requirements and advise Hiring Managers on recruitment best practice. You will not just be expected to find a candidate, but to have a huge involvement in the recruitment methods and processes including writing bespoke job adverts and job descriptions, trialling and understanding new assessment processes and regularly updating your recruitment expertise and market knowledge.

The Talent Acquisition Consultant will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following skill sets and experience: 

  • Target and results driven
  • Strong verbal communication skills including phone based work 
  • Strong written communications skills including the ability to write excellent emails 
  • Strong customer service skills and managing difficult conversations 
  • Strong administration skills including Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • The ability to negotiate and influence decisions 
  • The ability to problem solve and find solutions 
  • The ability to multi task and manage challenging and demanding deadlines 
  • Desirable but not essential – Experience of managing low level/volume recruitment 
  • Desirable but not essential – Experience of direct sourcing niche candidates to a senior level
  • Desirable but not essential – of various recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards
