Senior Sales Executive

The Senior Sales Executive will report to the Head of Sales on the Direct Sales team and will have two main responsibilities:

Job Overview

The Senior Sales Executive will report to the Head of Sales on the Direct Sales team and will have two main responsibilities:

  • Generating business from new clients who do not currently use reed.co.uk
  • Growing SME Customers who purchase smaller subscriptions or digitally online

Key Activities

  • Grow the Direct client base by generating business with new clients and winning-back churned customers
  • Develop relationships with medium-to-large organisations in order to drive value and average-order-value
  • Clear plan for customer engagement at a strategic and operational level
  • Finding new ways to increase revenue and help with the strategy of managing the desk
  • Educating clients on different ways they can utilise the site to sell more solutions to their end clients
  • Working closely with Customer Success Executives to maximise conversion of prospective customers into paying customers

Key Measures and Targets

  • Hitting and exceeding sales targets
  • Activity – exceed customer engagement targets
  • Conversion rates – prospects to paying customers
  • Increasing revenue, upsell, renewal growth and decreasing churn

Capabilities and Competencies

  • Experience of managing SME accounts
  • Experience of developing revenue from new business
  • Able to create account strategies
  • Telesales experience
  • Enthusiastic and creative problem solver
  • A consultative approach to sales and being comfortable asking for business
  • A proven track-record of consistent achievement of sales KPIs and targets
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to interact with diverse audiences
  • Results driven, motivated and passionate about sales
  • Strong commitment to personal excellence, self-disciplined, well presented and resourceful with excellent attention to detail and time management skills
