Senior Marketing Executive

Reed.co.uk are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join their expanding Marketing team in Holborn, London. 


As we continue to evolve the sophistication of our marketing campaigns, we’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our digital marketing team and drive strong performance in a key area of growth for the business.

The successful candidate will work under our  Search Engine Marketing Manager, to drive growth across multiple acquisition channels. They’ll use their creative mindset to build, implement, and optimise marketing campaigns to activate set budget allocation, to drive highly effective performance across our app and web accounts. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with our Search Engine Marketing Manager to run efficient and profitable search campaigns which  are optimised towards varying KPI’s by intent/business area
  • Deliver our data-driven,  App campaign strategy for the acquisition of B2C audiences within the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
  • Fulfil day-to-day optimisation including keyword research, identifying new keyword opportunities, building out new ad groups and campaigns, writing new ad copy, running A/B Tests, bid management, daily and monthly budgets and spend reconciliation with the aim of increasing scale through budget allocation
  • Work with external agencies to support in the implementation and optimisation of Paid and Organic Search strategies
  • Work with Marketing Analytics, Product and Engineering stakeholders to drive impact across the business
  • Carry out reporting using Excel, and BI tools (e.g. Looker, Google Analytics, Appsflyer)
  • Develop formulas and build reports 
  • Understand and execute Google Ads Scripts

Skills and Experience

  • A performance-driven and commercially aware approach with a minimum 1-2 years hands-on experience of implementing and running campaigns, across a range of industries either agency or client side
  • Good understanding and experience of using a marketing platform such as; Google Ads, Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads or Google App Campaigns
  • An ability to differentiate and optimise towards multiple KPIs at different stages of a user’s journey
  • Practical experience using Google Analytics to derive insights that inform future campaign performance
  • Strong evidence of an analytical and growth mindset as well critical thinking and high attention to detail
  • Experience working with a recruitment site or job board or similar non-retail, high listing industries, such as the hotel industry (preferred not essential)
  • Advanced Excel skills (preferred not essential)
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in a numerical/science related subject (preferred not essential)

Key Measures and Targets

  • You’ll be targeted against improving performance metrics and gaining efficiencies across all Search campaigns to drive value and change within the marketing team
