Resourcing Consultant for Imperial College Hospitals Staff Bank
Salary: £20,000 + Quarterly bonus.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
A great opportunity has arisen within our London Office for a Resourcing Consultant. Within this role, it would be your responsibility to support the Recruitment Consultants in sourcing for high calibre candidates to fill current and potential roles from clients. The Resourcing Consultant is also accountable for following up references, as required by consultants through online systems, as well as reminding candidates and clients of deadlines for the completion of time sheets.
You will be working to support the NHS Trust and resourcing for our Nursing or Clerical Staff Banks. Within this, you will be sourcing for candidates who’s skills/experience meet the requirements of the client such as Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Administrators, Receptionists, HR Staff and more!
A major part of the support provided to consultants is through the sourcing of appropriate candidates by making use of various on-line job boards and candidate search techniques. In order to gain a good understanding of the requirements of the vacancies the Resourcing Consultant must be able to accurately analyse job descriptions in order to identify key aspects of the job requirements. These requirements have to be matched against a large volume of CVs. In order to deliver a world-class service and to ensure that lead times are optimally utilised effective time management and task prioritisation is essential.
Once appropriate candidates are identified the Resourcing Consultant conducts a telephone screening interview in order to qualify candidates for the relevant positions. This screening process typically includes questions related to required pay rates, suitability, and accessibility of the employer in relation to the candidate and relevance of experience. During this conversation the Resourcing Consultant is also responsible for obtaining leads for potential business and to generate referrals for the Consultant to pursue.
It is imperative that all actions are noted on the candidate management system and that detailed feedback is given to the relevant consultant.
The Resourcing Consultant is the initial (and vital) point of contact between Reed Specialist Recruitment and potential candidates. In order to provide a world-class service to Co-Members and candidates the Resourcer must show a high level of professionalism and motivation coupled with a good knowledge of the recruiting clients’ requirements and an impeccable phone manner.
This is a very demanding role, which is extremely fast paced and will suit someone who is organised, can adapt to business needs, has great time keeping ability and excellent customer service skills, in order to deal with the needs of our clients and candidates.
The great news is you won’t require experience for this position. If you’re a recent and bright graduate, come from a retail or hospitality background or just have fantastic customer service skills from other industries, we want to hear from you!
