Resourcer

We’re looking for a driven individual to join our growing HR & Procurement division in London. You will be focusing on the supporting with resourcing for candidates across 4 branches who recruit for HR and Procurement and Supply chain positions.  

Your new role…

The key purpose of the Resourcer role within Reed, is to identify and approach candidates, qualify that they have the right skills and expertise, secure their commitment for roles, and share them with consultants for vacancies that they have.

What you’ll be doing

  • Liaising with consultants about roles they need candidates for, getting as much information as possible about the job and skills, experience and qualification needed to make the perfect match
  • Sourcing and selecting suitable candidates from a range of different sources, including jobsites, social media, other platforms, referrals and using local market knowledge
  • Preparing and posting adverts
  • Conducting marketing activity to attract new candidates to register with Reed
  • Developing and maintaining a suitable pool of candidates for roles
  • Contacting candidates and conducting initial screening to find out what roles they are interested in
  • Understanding and managing candidates’ aspirations, to ensure they find the right role
  • Matching candidates to permanent/temporary/interim opportunities
  • Developing strong relationships with candidates through effective networking
  • Supporting consultants by sending out the details of good candidates on spec to clients
  • Generating new business leads for consultants through candidates
  • Writing accurate and engaging candidate profiles
  • Putting candidates on our systems and keeping their records up to date
  • Providing general administrative support to the recruitment function
