Position: Recruitment Consultant – Reed Education, Cambridge
Salary: £21,000-£35,000 (OTE) – plus uncapped commission
Hours: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours) Permanent, Full Time

The high performing, successful, and friendly team in Cambridge are looking to expand their education team.
Based in an amazing new, modern and spacious office that has parking on site, we are close to the train station, restaurants, coffee shops, super markets and a gym! We offer flexible shifts and working patterns (including dynamic working from home), reduced hours over school holidays and dress down weekly and during school holidays.
We want to continue to grow the temporary and permanent business that we provide to our schools and develop the business across the geographical area that we cover.
The Cambridge office is ‘flying’ in terms of performance and is one of the most successful and leading in the division. You will get support, training, coaching and guidance on how to be successful from people who have been on the same journey and have a wealth of local and specific knowledge to the sector.

What does the role entail?
Maintaining and developing business from existing schools and converting schools that don’t use to ‘users’. High volumes of phone based sales calls. Your desk will grow and develop from high levels of activity which is the cornerstone of this role. You will be expected to attend client meetings and convert non users to active clients and interview and grow your pool of candidates. KPI targets will be set and audit and compliance requirements must be met working in the education sector.

- Easy to get on with and can pick things up quickly and run their day to day busy at an efficient speed
- Organised, methodical and process driven
- Wanting to perform at a high level, consistently and earn a great annual income with their bonus
- Willing to go the extra mile to provide a first class service to both their potential and active schools/clients and their candidates that they are representing
- Determined to fill every job that they work in partnership with their schools
- Honest, trustworthy, a team player and works well with the team, Region and Division
