Recruitment Consultant – Temps Desk

  • Salary: £21,000 to £28,000 (dependant on experience + uncapped commission)
  • Reed offer hybrid working, a mix of work from home and office throughout the week
  • Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Due to the continued success of the Sussex and South Coast HR division, we are increasing our headcount by recruiting a dedicated Temporaries Recruitment Consultant to expand and develop our temporaries market. We are looking for someone who has previous recruitment or sales experience and the ability to learn quickly and be able to perform well in a target driven sales role.

This role will sit in the heart of our Sussex HR division and will have a reach of a large geographical area covering multiple industry specialisms.

This role will be based in central Crawley and you will be joining a positive team, working with them to increase temporary/interim business locally and to assist with the continual success of the wider Crawley office.

Hours are 37 per week ,with some home working and flexible hours an option, we offer industry beating training , outstanding rewards, benefits and working environment, together with a competitive salary and on target earning potential.

The role will entail managing your own desk and working in a fast paced environment, within one within one of the highest performing and most rewarding offices in Reed! Day to day the role includes:

  • Developing business opportunities through targeted cold calling, attending sales meetings and presentations, organising visits and networking events.
  • Winning new business by adopting new innovative and creative approaches to selling Reed that makes us stand out against the competitors.
  • Fostering and developing close working relationships with new and existing clients and identify their current and future recruitment needs.
  • Closely matching the requirement of available roles to candidate’s skills, expertise, and experience.
  • Conducing marketing activity and utilising social media to attract new candidates to register with Reed.
