Recruitment Consultant – Perms Desk

Reed Northampton is recruiting in their Procurement & Supply Chain specialism!

 

  • Role: Recruitment Consultant – Permanent Desk
  • Specialism – Procurement & Supply Chain
  • Location: Northampton NN4 7RG (with blended home working and office working)
  • Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience + bonus scheme)
  • Hours: Mon-Fri, 37.5 per week
  • Contract: Full Time Permanent

Based out of our flagship N900 office, you’ll recruit for varying roles from Supply Chain Co-ordinators and Procurement Assistants and Analysts to managers and up to director level covering the geographical area of Northampton, Milton Keynes and Peterborough.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Strategic business development – B2B sales calls
  • Contacting and introducing yourself to Reed’s established client base of senior decision makers 
  • Using LinkedIn Recruiter to map clients and candidates
  • Matching candidates to your existing & new client base and vice versa, as well as arranging interviews/meetings between the two
  • Networking with clients and candidates

Required skills and attributes:

  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, resilience, and dedication to succeed
  • Act as an ambassador for Reed – the candidates you place will become future clients
  • Professional yet personable
  • Ability to judge & prioritise multiple demands whilst delivering fast-paced service excellence
