Recruitment Consultant – Perms Desk

We are looking to grow a professional team servicing city clients within the financial planning and wealth sectors across London, you will be joining a team that strongly believe in client and candidate journeys and who offer transparent recruitment solutions.

You will be responsible for delivering recruitment solutions within the London area mainly focusing on the EC postcodes. You will actively be managing your candidate and client pipeline and working on roles that include – Sales Support Administrator, paraplanner, Financial Planner (IFA), Compliance Officers/ Managers. Ideally as time goes on you will also be looking to help develop the mortgage sector – broking side within the same area. This would include roles such as – Mortgage Admin/ Case Manager, Mortgage Broker, and Compliance staff.

Recruitment experience is not necessary for this role, a desire to offer good levels of service is. The role will be speaking with and winning business in the financial planning and wealth companies that are situated in London. Day to day you will be involved in market mapping, producing target clients, marketing and sales activities. You will also be face to face with clients.

What you’ll be doing: 

You will need a strong desire to succeed and want to learn both about the recruitment and financial planning sectors. Your main duty as a Recruitment Consultant will be contacting new leads, maintaining existing relationships and developing new areas of revenue generation. Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Sourcing for candidates and reviewing CV’s, assessing skills and experience
  • Gaining details of client requirements, ensuring expectations are met
  • Building and maintaining strong and trusting client/candidate relationships
  • Scoping out/supporting the process of winning new business for Reed
  • Completing administrative tasks to support the recruitment process
  • Negotiating terms of business with the clients
