Recruitment Consultant – Perms Desk

Take your recruitment career forward with the largest family-owned recruiter worldwide and a recognised brand name throughout the UK! We’re looking for a Permanents Recruitment Consultant to join Reed, starting on a warm desk in our friendly and welcoming Business Support team.

This role is based in the Uxbridge office within the one of Reed’s top performing regions. This opportunity offers great exposure and the chance to impress. Covering both interim and permanent recruitment, this would suit an experienced consultant or sales professional to join the established team.

The successful candidate will not only be joining a friendly and welcoming Uxbridge office, but also joining a team with a wealth of knowledge and experience gained over the years working as part of the Reed family. This is a highly motivated team, with hardworking consultants who are dedicated to giving the best experience to their clients and candidates. Upon joining your new team, you will receive full support and training where needed to ensure you’re performing at your best!

The role will be Monday to Friday but here at Reed we work within a flexible dynamic framework that will give you the opportunity to work from home as well as in the office throughout the week, creating a fantastic and productive work life balance.

We’re currently looking for an individual with sales or recruitment experience, who is used to working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be sales focused with the ability to be tenacious, have a strong work ethic and who can deliver professional and credible verbal and written communication to both candidates and clients.

The role of a Recruitment Consultant within Reed is a professional role and very rewarding. It can provide an excellent career as well as excellent earning potential. As a Consultant you will be involved in the following;

  • Developing business with new clients over the phone
  • Attending business meetings with new and existing clients
  • Maintaining working relationships with existing clients and spotting opportunities for further business
  • Sourcing candidates to match your clients recruitment needs
  • Advertising vacancies in a professional and attractive manner in order to attract the best candidates
  • Interviewing candidates and preparing them for interviews
  • Negotiating offers between your clients and candidates
