Recruitment Consultant

The SEN desk is an established desk within the Cardiff Education Team. The majority of business it has is long term temporary work, but it is has also had permenants success too. There are plenty of warm relationships with clients and candidates alike, and has lots and lots of opportunity. This desk places both Teachers, Teaching Assistants and more recently even Ancillary staff like cleaners/administration staff etc, into pure SEN schools across South Wales. 

It will require a Recruitment Consultant who likes a varied day, and a fast paced work environment. They must enjoy being part of a wider team and also be a great team player. It is a busy desk with lots going on, and so a Recruitment consultant who can manage their time, and organise their priorities will be key. 

A Recruitment  Consultants role is largely business development focused, and will involve cold calling to new and existing clients to develop strong relationships and winning new contracts. 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Identifying new business opportunities 

  • Business development calls 

  • Managing the complete recruitment life cycle 

  • Meeting with clients 

  • Sourcing candidates by networking and headhunting
