Programmatic Manager

Reed.co.uk are looking for a Programmatic Manager to join their expanding team based in Holborn, Central London (work from home 3 days a week).

Overview

As we continue to evolve the complexity of our programmatic offering across our entire business, we’re looking for a Programmatic Manager to join our digital marketing team. 

The successful candidate will work under our Performance Marketing Lead to help implement the strategy for programmatic media buying across affiliates and display for B2C campaigns. They’ll use their experience in building, running, and optimising programmatic campaigns to activate set budget allocation to drive highly effective performance across our accounts. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategise, plan and implement efficient, highly profitable programmatic campaigns across affiliate and display channels that are optimised towards varying KPI’s by intent/business area
  • Be the driving force in implementing the latest technology to achieve the business’ long-term strategy
  • Deliver our data-driven, performance strategy for the acquisition of B2C (and potentially B2B) audiences
  • Fulfil day-to-day optimisations including running A/B Tests, bid management, daily and monthly budgets and spend reconciliation
  • Supporting asset creation to align with our brand guidelines that drive strong results
  • Identify and implement new opportunities to stay ahead of the competition
  • Work with Marketing Analytics to  manage and optimise multi-million pound budgets across various platforms
  • Work with Marketing Analytics to advise and refine reporting
  • Work across business stakeholders including Product, Engineering and Business Intelligence to implement new technologies that deliver against our strategy
  • Work with vendors and industry teams to implement and optimise campaigns as effectively as possible 
  • Present project updates and measurement to key stakeholders within the business

Skills and Experience

  • A performance-driven and commercially aware approach with experience of implementing and running programmatic campaigns, across a range of industries either agency or client side
  • Experience across affiliate marketing, working with budgets in excess of one million pounds per quarter
  • Demonstrable experience implementing marketing strategies into practical, highly successful campaigns 
  • An ability to differentiate and optimise towards multiple KPIs at different stages of a user’s journey
  • Good communication and project management skills to work collaboratively with platform teams (e.g. industry managers at Google), to enhance campaign performance
  • Strong evidence of an analytical mindset, and both creative and critical thinking 
  • Experience using feeds to run campaigns 
  • Experience running display campaigns (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience working with a recruitment site or job board or similar non-retail, high listing industries, such as the hotel industry (preferred not essential)
  • Advanced Excel skills (preferred not essential)
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in a numerical/science related subject (preferred not essential)

Key Measures and Targets

  • You’ll be targeted against improving performance metrics and gaining efficiencies across all Programmatic campaigns to drive value and change within the marketing team
