Reed Property & Construction are looking to grow their team in Southampton.
The role of a Recruitment Consultant within Reed is a professional sales role which can often be quite tough and demanding. For the right person, it is also very rewarding and exciting and can provide an excellent career as well as excellent earning potential. We’ve worked with some truly fantastic candidates and clients and have even extended our reach into the North East & Yorkshire so you will be joining a truly warm desk.
The Permanents Consultant will focus on the White Collar construction market covering a Geography from Dorset to Kent including Berkshire, East & West Sussex and parts of Wiltshire, where we already have a warm client base.
What’s the job?
This is a varied and challenging role requiring someone resilient and determined to succeed. You will be interacting with business clients and prospective candidates on a daily basis and using your own initiative to gain new business. Day to day the role includes:
– Targeted business development, including making outbound calls
– Attending meetings with business clients
– Sourcing suitable candidates for vacancies
– Building and maintaining relationships with candidates and clients
– Working to targets and KPIs
You will develop and manage client and candidate relationships, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality standards working against KPI’s and targets.

You don’t need to be experienced in recruitment. The role would be great for someone with experience looking for a new challenge but equally, would suit a recent grad looking for that first step into the world of recruitment.

We also offer an accredited Recruitment Apprenticeship training scheme for our new starters who don’t have recruitment experience.
