The Reed Business School are looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join their established facilities management team based at our prestigious Manor House based in the Cotswolds.

Location: Reed Business School, The Manor, Little Compton, Nr Moreton in Marsh GL56 0RZ

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 27.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 8.00 a.m. – 2.00 p.m. (5.5 hours with 0.5 unpaid hours for lunch).  Rota of occasional weekend work

Salary: £15,785.00 per annum (£11.03 per hour

The Role:

The Reed Business School are looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join their established facilities management team based at our prestigious Manor House based in the Cotswolds.

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the role of a Housekeeper will be to service any rooms (both bedrooms and lecture rooms) currently being used by delegates on a day to day basis. You will be ensuring that high standards of cleanliness are maintained and this will include all duties associated with housekeeping; i.e. hoovering, making beds, dusting, washing bathrooms, mopping floors, general tidying & polishing and emptying bins.

Your main duties will include laundry, reporting issues including repairs, health and safety and hygiene concerns and property problems, maintaining bathrooms, monitoring stock supplies, quarterly tasks such as polishing floors, deep clean vacuuming, cleaning windows, washing woodwork and deep waxing the staircase.

Who would suit this role?

The successful applicant will have the ability to work as part of a team, be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative and to have excellent hygiene standards.

It would also be desirable if you have housekeeping or cleaning experience, and experience of working well unsupervised and to tight deadlines.
