Housekeeper – Reed Business School

Salary: £10.50 per hour
Location: The Manor, Little Compton
Contract:
Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 9am-3pm Monday-Friday (30-minute lunch break and some weekend work is required, depending on the needs at The Manor).

The Reed Business School are looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join their established facilities management team, who are based at our prestigious Manor House in the Cotswolds.

Responsibilities:

Working as a Housekeeper, you will work under the Facilities Manager and service any rooms (Both bedrooms and lecture rooms) currently being used by delegates on a day-to-day basis. You will need to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained. Your main responsibilities within this role include:

  • Hoovering and dusting
  • Making up beds and laundry
  • Washing bathrooms
  • General tidying such as mopping, polishing, and emptying any bins
  • Reporting any issues including repairs, health and safety and hygiene concerns
  • Monitoring stock supplies
  • Other tasks would include a quarterly deep clean such as, polishing floors, hoovering, cleaning windows, washing woodwork, and waxing the staircase

Desired requirements:

  • Our ideal candidate would be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative, as well as supporting a team
  • Excellent hygiene standards
  • Experience of working unsupervised and to tight deadlines

Advantageous requirements:

  • It would be advantageous if you have worked in this type of role previously, such as having any housekeeping or cleaning experience
  • To have a DBS check already completed, certificate to present at interview*

*If you do not have a DBS check, please don’t worry as this is something you can obtain following interview however, this would be required to obtain a formal offer for the position and monies for this would be refunded once your employment commences.
