Digital Marketing Manager

Reed Learning Ltd are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their growing team in Holborn, London. 

Overview

The Marketing Manager is a key strategic role within Reed Learning Ltd. Reed Learning is a new business venture which will bring together the fragmented offering of Learning products and services across Reed, into a new and innovative proposition. In time, Reed Learning will develop new and entrepreneurial products/services and propositions, based on market and customer insight.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible of leading the acquisition of new customers, namely business customers through a variety of marketing disciplines, with a digital-first approach.

The substance of the role initially will be to define the target customer segments within the business audience and develop a strategy to acquire and retain them within Reed Learning. This means, developing everything from a robust SEO strategy, with support from technical partners, through to delivering on targeted campaigns to acquire and nurture high-value customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Segmentation of key customer groups  
  • Define, deliver and optimise the acquisition and retention strategy with a digital-first mindset for targeted segments 
  • Experimentation to define best optimisation approach (e.g A/B testing), comfortable with overseeing m end to testing from segmentation to developing landing pages
  • Develop a clear content and engagement strategy for all Reed Learning marketing channels including digital (web/social) and sales collateral / events to support commercial teams development lasting relationships with customer
  • Develop the Reed Learning proposition working with product and sales teams
  • Define partnership/ affiliates as required
  • Work closely with the Reed Learning team and teams across the Reed Group to ensure a joined up and harmonious, efficient approach to marketing strategy and spend

Skills and Experience

  • Marketing generalist with broad understanding of digital marketing
  • Ability work with multiple partners to deliver multi-channel campaign
  • Data-led, performance based marketing skillset
  • Self starter, commercial mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to set up and run A/B experimentation
  • Use of Google Analytics and personalisation tools, MS office including advanced excel skills
