Customer Project Executive

Reed.co.uk are looking for a Customer Projects Executive to work in our Northampton or London offices. This is a key role within the Group Customer team. The successful candidate will be a customer focussed individual who is motivated and engaged by providing service excellence to our customers.  


Job Title: Customer Projects Executive
Location: Northampton
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing market-leading service and will ensure that our customers receive maximum value through their interactions with the Reed Group.

They will be interested in customer engagement, complaints resolution and communications, in order to manage the best possible customer experience. This means using insight based on customer relationships to manage the execution of our messaging with our customers. 

Due to the project based nature of the team, we need someone who is flexible and open to supporting a variety of initiatives depending on the team’s evolving priorities. This may include working on activities such as brand management or market trends analysis.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Managing escalated customer complaints and queries
  • Act as the “voice of the customer” internally and use this valuable feedback/insights to drive the customer experience
  • Transition the Keep Britain Working site from an active campaign to an ongoing resource hub as we move into the autumn
  • Support the masterbrand guardian with ongoing monitoring of the Reed online presence 
  • Comms lead for internal messaging 
  • Support with market research to maintain an up to date view of the latest trends both inside and outside of the recruitment industry
  • Maintain social impact policy and coordinate relevant social impact initiatives as necessary
  • Continually improve your knowledge of the Reed Group’s offerings and the customer’s business/industry to ensure that you are delivering the best possible service

Skills and Experience 

  • Able to speak to varieties of stakeholders including customer groups and provide excellent service in doing so
  • Proactive, positive, self-starter and team player, who is keen to continually improve processes
  • Experience and interest in social media and developing content 
  • Good copywriting skills and design attention to detail 
  • Good presentation and meeting facilitation skills including small to medium groups
  • Demonstrable success in thinking strategically, executing tactically

  • Timely escalation and resolution of customer queries 
  • Social media metrics defined by campaign 
  • Projects executed on time and to high quality standards
  • High quality content creation
