Business Support Executive

Overview 

The Business Support Executive’s primary role is to be a key enabler for Reed Online’s integrations with third party recruitment software, most notably Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), in order to drive greater results for our recruiting customers.

This role plays a pivotal part in allowing Reed Online to maximise the value of existing integrations for both internal and external benefit, ensuring we are successfully building, onboarding and supporting key integrations.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. This Support Specialists role comes with full support and development. Meaning we will offer the right applicant full training, support and development to ensure your success in this role. All we ask is that you have previous experience of working in a business to business support role.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide investigative support across the development, launch and maintenance of integrated partners.
  • Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party partners to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
  • Provide 2nd line Application Support on API based internally developed integrations
  • Provide support to help with the smooth transition of new releases of integrations into Production.
  • Follow and improve the procedures and processes within the integration development & support function.
  • Contributes to the evolution of the service and solution they support.
  • Can select appropriate tools and techniques to achieve their goals and is able to document and communicate this effectively.
  • Quick to learn and able to apply their knowledge in a way that delivers immediate business benefit.
  • Carries out such tasks as directed to meet the needs of the business

Skills and Experience 

  • Previous experience in a business to business support role is essential
  • Ability to successfully support internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent investigative skills, ability to follow processes and procedures whilst providing professional levels of communication in the form of updates or resolutions
  • Ability to learn fast and implement knowledge to drive value both for Reed Online and our integrated partners
  • Excellent analytical capability
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to take on a challenge
  • Strong focus on delivery and time management 
  • Hands-on experience of Issue Management tools – ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence etc.
