Business Manager

Reed Coventry and Leamington Spa has a fantastic opportunity for a Business Manager to join the well established and successful Accountancy & Finance team.

You will lead the already successful, Accountancy and Finance team, from the front as a hands-on billing manager. The candidate we are looking to appoint for this role will be focused on B2B sales and client development while leading the team and managing all permanent finance recruitment in Coventry and Warwickshire.

Joining a high-performing office, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to grow and develop the Finance and Accountancy specialism and potentially the team too. Managing a small team of consultants, you will be based out of our new offices on Binley Business Park in Coventry.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a professional and driven individual with previous recruitment and managerial experience.

Recruitment is sales focused and we want someone to join the team who will enjoy building relationships and developing business as we pride ourselves on delivering candidates and clients a high quality and consultative service.

The role is a fast paced environment and will require excellent organisation skills and professionalism. This 360 role includes both the sales and service aspects.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Lead by example supporting the consultants winning business and filling jobs
• To manage your division with full P&L control
• You will be expected to shape the sales, set the KPI’s (we are not interested in just X amount of calls culture – we want a manager who knows the value of input/output and what is required to grow)
• Identify and generate a pipeline of business within your vertical and market
• To maintain and develop a high quality database
• To win new clients
• To manage the consultants, but in a culture of coaching and development
• Manage and develop, and accelerate, our day to day, long-term and permanent income week on week, period on period, quarter on quarter and year on year
