Back in the spring of 2022, Reed launched the latest iteration of their Co-Member Value Proposition (CVP)
A term you may know as an Employee Value Proposition (EVP). But here at Reed, we refer to our colleagues as co-members, not employees, and hence the CVP term was coined.
Being a co-member at Reed means that you are not simply a number, but a valued member of the team.
Reed has always had a strong emphasis on creating a positive and supportive work culture, where co-members are encouraged to collaborate and develop their skills and careers.
There has been so much positive change in the last few years that it was the right time to revisit our CVP. We needed to modernise and adapt the previous rendition, to ensure that the version today encompasses everything Reed has to offer. From more flexible and remote working, industry-leading rewards, and award-winning learning and development options, to showing our commitment within EDIB and creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
We have a fantastic culture within Reed
We let our co-members do most of the talking when it comes to articulating our CVP. We did, however, want to turn up the volume and amplify those voices and so began working with Splice Films to bring our CVP to life. Project managed by graduate scheme alumni and Employer Brand specialist Ryan Pearson, the challenge was how to squeeze in everything Reed has to offer in under five minutes!

Featuring active co-members (cute dog aside) discussing their real (non-scripted) experiences of working for Reed, the film highlights the various elements of our CVP, including opportunities for career growth, work-life balance, our rewards, and above all else, a culture where you can feel like you truly belong.
By showcasing these key aspects, we hope to continue to attract the best talent in the market who are looking for a fulfilling and rewarding career.
You can watch the film on our careers site and social media channels. And it will also play a role in our onboarding strategy as part of our commitment to creating a workplace where our co-members feel valued, supported and inspired. Our CVP is an essential part of this commitment, and we believe that this film will help us connect with current and future co-members who share our vision and values.
